Sorry I haven't posted anything significant in a while. I've been in Jerusalem for minute… What have I been doing you ask?
Big news, folks. This may not be a good venue for telling people, but…
I just got enaged.

Yeah, I know. I don't consider marriage a thing to be proud of, more like a guilty indulgence of some un-hold-backeable desire… like religion. But I fell in love! what can I do? We've been just holding the space for a little while, and you know what? It just seems so right. crazy, yeah?
I'm into the inyan of a longish engagement… let it be serious without being pre-consigned. Ideologically, I feel like i've betrayed humanity– I believe in a love that transcends contracts, I believe in trusting people in theri relationships and explorations, and the multiplicity of "soulmates"…
But she's just, like, so cool. Cool is not word enough, really, uh, uh, gosh. I'm just totally subtly bowled over, but aware and it still feels, in it's own way, as if we're taking it slow and keeping our eyes open.
I just wanted to tell you all about it, before it becomes official facebook lore. We should be doing a U.S./Canada tour through August and September, so… yeah.
I really DON'T know WHY i'm posting this here. I'm sure I don't know three fourths of the readership of this blog… but I guess I've been sharing all the secrets of my mind and heart with you all… why not this? You know?
